Our resident corporate Agony Uncle, CEO Ken Cheng, tackles business challenges – so you don’t have to.
Dear Ken Cheng,
I’ve been married six years. My wife Jennifer was doing her LinkedIn Year in Review in front of me and her most connected person was another man. Should I be worried?
– Stephen, Solihull
Ken Cheng:
Short answer: yes, divorce her right now.
The closest emotional and spiritual bond one can have is a professional bond.
The only man who should come up on a woman’s LinkedIn Year in Review is the man she is in deep love and lust with, with one exception: me.
Many married women have messaged me saying I am their most connected person in 2025.
These women’s husbands are safe because a) this is a natural and understandable result and b) I don’t have time to sleep with all of them.
However, if it is any other man, that is a red flag. It doesn’t matter if it’s a co-worker, a recruiter, a client.
You’ve landed in cuckold territory now, and it’s hunting season.
Go straight to divorce papers. Do not pass couples therapy. Do not collect marriage self-help books.
It’s over.
