We hear from many of our community members that senior-level marketers feel they are under a level of pressure that most organisations don’t fully understand. 2026 presents a tornado of rapidly changing scenarios: economic volatility, political uncertainty, relentless stakeholder scrutiny, the pace of technology adoption, unpredictable audience behaviour and a media landscape that rewrites its own rules every quarter.
The people who best understand this era of marketing mayhem are their peers: fellow senior marketers living through exactly the same thing. Little Grey Cells Club is where they find each other.
We exist to replace the isolation that comes with seniority, giving the UK’s most experienced marketing leaders a trusted, peer-driven community built on candour, collective wisdom and front-line experience. Join our community, attend our events and connect with expert marketers to expand your network and remove the obstacles that are blocking your route to success.
Here are the three ways that we support our members:

1. Trouble-shooting Specific Marketing Challenges:
If there’s a way we can help to connect you with your fellow senior-level marketers – we will endeavour to do that. Founder Tim Healey ’s weekly interviews for The Drum and regular conversations with CMOs sees him positioned within the industry as a ‘marketing weather vane’: As Tim says: “I am not an expert, but I am in regular conversations with a tonne of marketing leaders who are.”
In Tim’s interviews he hears first-hand about marketing successes and snags from the leaders shaping marketing today. As a result, Tim is always happy to suggest who from his interview series or the community might be able to advise you or share their experience.
As example: imagine taking over the marketing for a global airline, but you are not getting buy-in for your agenda from the board. You could speak to your peer – head of brand at another internationally renowned airline and compare notes.
In this case, Tim facilitated that conversation and the result enabled the first marketer to go back to her board with validated evidence of what could be done to overhaul their airline marketing. Board attitudes changed, budgets were unlocked.
If you are facing challenges, there’s a high probability a community member has been in your shoes and can offer advice. Tim is always happy to have coffees (virtual or IRL) with members to see how he can help you to expand your network and speak to learned, experienced marketers who are happy to advise.

Have your profile interview featured in The Drum.
2. Your Profile Interview in The Drum:
Tim’s interviews are published weekly in The Drum. He invites all members of the Little Grey Cells Club community to approach him directly to be featured in his series. The process involves 50 minutes on Zoom, you get copy approval, and then once Tim has your finalised version and supporting images he will file with The Drum.
With over 200 interviews now completed, you will be in safe hands. Tim is known for putting his interviewees at ease and enjoying discussion about helicopter views of business as much as precision data analysis and profit and loss with his guests.
To see examples of the great and the good of marketing who have been interviewed by Tim, see the interviews on our homepage. All of which first featured in The Drum before being included here.

3. Our Community Events:
Our independence is in our DNA. Members attend our events in the knowledge that they will not be sold to. This creates something very rare: community events full of top-tier marketing leaders with open minds, a desire to support each other, sharing the knowledge and front-line experience gained from working for some of the worlds most recognisable brands.
Our guest speakers are carefully curated, viewed through Tim’s journalistic lens and with constant chekcins with our advisory board. Guest speakers have included Alastair Campbell, Zoe Scaman, Dex Hunter-Torricke, Nishma Patel Robb and Stef Reid MBE, (among many others) across events at Lincoln’s Inn, the House of Lords and private dining rooms at some of London’s most celebrated restaurants.
So if you haven’t already: first make sure you have signed up to our community on our home page to get first dibs on our events. Next join our LinkedIn Little Grey Cells Group. A list of all of our future community events are here. Finally, get in touch with our team if you think we can be of assistance – we are here to help.
Together we elevate marketing through collective insight.
